Sell your used Bikes, Scooters & E-Bikes in Islamabad & Rawalpindi

Who buys used bikes, scooters & e-bikes in Islamabad?

Used motorcycles are among the quickest sales in this list, because a working 70cc or 125cc is transport rather than a luxury. The buyers are students and commuters across Islamabad and Rawalpindi, delivery riders who need a second bike running, and workshops that rebuild and resell. Papers count as much as condition here: a bike with a clean book and matching numbers sells to anyone, one without does not.

What we check on a used bikes, scooters & e-bikes

These are the checks that decide the grade — and the same ones worth running yourself before you accept any offer for your bikes, scooters & e-bikes.

Read the chassis and engine numbers

The chassis number is stamped on the frame near the steering head and the engine number on the crankcase. Both must match the registration book character for character. Numbers that have been filed, re-stamped, painted over or welded around stop the bike from being transferred, and that is the one fault which ends a sale on the spot.

Start it from cold yourself

Ask that the bike has not been run that morning. A sound 70 or 125 fires within a couple of kicks and settles to a steady idle without the choke being held open. A cloud of blue smoke at start-up means worn rings or valve stem seals, while a top-end rattle that fades as it warms is often valve clearance but can be the cam chain tensioner.

Lift the chain off the sprocket

At the three o'clock position on the rear sprocket, pull the chain away from the teeth. If it lifts far enough to show daylight, chain and sprockets are finished as a set. Look at the teeth too: hooked, pointed profiles mean the set ran long past its life, and a worn chain left over-tight also wears the gearbox output shaft.

Bounce the front end and brake

Squeeze the front brake and push the bike forward. The forks should compress and return smoothly with no clunk, and the stanchions should be dry, since oil on a fork leg means the seal has gone. Check the wear indicator arrow on drum brakes, and roll the bike slowly to listen for a rumble from the wheel bearings.

Trace the wiring and try the self-start

Look for taped joints, extra wires run for horns and lights, and a battery box crammed with connections. A hacked loom sits behind most charging and lighting faults on these bikes. Try the self-start with the headlight on: a slow crank is often just the battery, but a bike that only ever starts on the kick has usually been living with a charging fault.

Load the battery on an electric bike

Note the pack voltage shown on the display when parked and fully charged, then ride up a slope and watch it again. A pack that drops sharply under load and recovers once you stop is near the end of its life, and on an affordable e-bike the replacement pack is the single biggest cost of ownership. Confirm the original charger and both keys are included.

What raises the price of used bikes, scooters & e-bikes

  • A complete file carries the sale, meaning the registration book, token tax paid up to date, and a transfer that can actually be completed in the seller's name.
  • An engine that has never been opened is worth more than one already rebored, and a bike sitting on its last oversize piston has little room left in it.
  • Original paint on a straight frame beats a fresh repaint, because a repaint on a common model is usually covering accident damage or filler.
  • Parts availability follows popularity, so models that every workshop in the city can service hold value better than rare or discontinued ones.
  • On an electric bike, the age and health of the battery pack, plus the presence of the original charger, decide most of what is left.

What makes an item For Parts rather than resale

  • Chassis or engine numbers that do not match the papers, or that have been tampered with, make the bike unsaleable at any grade.
  • A frame bent or twisted in a heavy accident, which shows as the rear wheel tracking off the line of the front, is not economic to straighten.
  • An engine seized solid, or bored beyond its last available oversize, leaves nothing left to rebuild on.
  • An electric bike with a dead pack and an unbranded controller or motor for which no replacement pack is made is a parts machine.

Brands we see most

These are the bikes, scooters & e-bikes brands that come up most often in the Islamabad and Rawalpindi second-hand market. We trade others too — this is what typically turns up, not a list of what is in stock today.

Selling Bikes, Scooters & E-Bikes — frequently asked questions

Can I sell a bike that is still registered in someone else's name?

It happens often and is not automatically a problem, but it changes what the bike is worth. The straightforward case has the registration book, a signed transfer letter and a copy of the registered owner's identity card. A bike passed along on an open letter through several hands, or with no papers at all, is harder to place and is priced accordingly.

Do you buy electric bikes and scooters?

Yes, and the assessment differs from a petrol bike. The battery pack, its age and how it behaves under load matter more than the reading on the meter. Send photographs of the pack and the charger along with the make, and say whether the pack has ever been replaced. A machine still holding a useful range is treated as ordinary working stock.

Is an ordinary bicycle worth selling, or only motorcycles?

Bicycles sell, though on different points. A straight frame, wheels that spin true without a wobble, working gears and brakes, and no deep rust in the bottom bracket or seat tube are what make one saleable. Frame size matters, because a bicycle that fits nobody in the household simply sits unused. Rust that has bubbled through the tubing ends it.

Do you buy non-working bikes, scooters & e-bikes?

Yes, we buy non-working bikes, scooters & e-bikes for parts at a reduced price. Just describe the fault honestly and we'll quote accordingly.

How fast do I get paid?

You're paid cash on the spot when we collect the item, after a quick inspection to confirm its condition.
