Sell your used Baby & Kids Items in Islamabad & Rawalpindi

Who buys used baby & kids items in Islamabad?

Baby gear is used for a short window and then sits in a store room, which is why there is a real second-hand market for it across Islamabad and Rawalpindi. Prams, cots, high chairs, walkers and outgrown ride-ons go to families expecting a second child, to relatives, and to small day-care setups. Bulky items are the hardest to carry to a shop, so doorstep collection and cash on the spot suit them.

What we check on a used baby & kids items

These are the checks that decide the grade — and the same ones worth running yourself before you accept any offer for your baby & kids items.

Fold and unfold the pram

Do it three times. The fold catch and the secondary safety latch should click home on their own, without coaxing, and the wheels should not wobble on their axles. Push it and apply the brake on a slope; a brake that creeps is a daily hazard, not a small fault.

Read the car seat labels

Most seats carry a manufacture date moulded into the shell and a label on the base, and the plastic and webbing age from that date whether the seat has been used or not. No legible label, or an unclear accident history, means the seat should not be fitted in a car at any grade.

Work the harness and buckle

Pull the five-point webbing through its adjuster and back. It should run freely, with no fraying where it passes through the shell slots. The buckle must release with a firm press and latch with a clear click; a sticky or gritty buckle is a fail, not a clean-up job.

Shake the cot frame

Press down hard on the base and rock the frame corner to corner. It should not rack or creak. Check that every bolt is present and is the original fitting rather than something from a hardware shop, and look along the top rails for teething damage and splinters.

Lift the cover off

Take the seat pad or mattress cover off and look and smell underneath. Fabric can be washed; foam that has taken milk, urine or damp cannot be brought back, and mould spotting on the underside of a mattress means the whole piece is done.

Open the battery compartment

On toys, bouncers and ride-ons, look for green or white crust on the contacts, which means a battery has leaked and the electronics may be corroded. Check the hatch screws are present, then tug wheels, eyes and small fittings to see that nothing works loose in the hand.

What raises the price of used baby & kids items

  • Accessories decide a lot: raincover, newborn insert, car seat base, harness pads, tray, manual and spare covers should stay with the item.
  • Gear that spans a longer stage holds value better, such as a cot bed that converts, a high chair that adjusts to a junior seat, or a frame that takes both a carrycot and a toddler seat.
  • Models still in current ranges keep value because wheels, covers and spare parts can still be bought locally.
  • Removable, machine-washable covers are worth more than fixed padding that can only be sponged.
  • Neutral colours and matching nursery pieces move more easily than a single bright item in a dated style.

What makes an item For Parts rather than resale

  • A car seat that has been in a collision, has a cracked shell, or whose date and model label cannot be read.
  • Cot, high chair or pram frames held together with improvised bolts in place of the original fittings.
  • Mattresses and foam padding with fluid staining or mould, which cannot be cleaned back to safe.
  • Cracked plastic on a load-bearing joint, such as a pram fold hinge or a high chair leg.

Brands we see most

Selling Baby & Kids Items — frequently asked questions

Which baby items are worth selling on, and which are not?

The bulky, short-use pieces carry the value: prams, cots, high chairs, playpens, walkers and ride-ons. Items that touch a baby's mouth or skin directly, such as feeding teats, dummies and breast pump parts, are not resale goods, and neither is stained foam. Anything with a mechanism has to work in front of a buyer, so a fold that will not latch or a recline that has collapsed leaves the piece as a source of spares.

Do baby walkers and bouncers hold any value?

They do. A walker or bouncer is in use for a few months and then stored, so wear shows in the fabric and the batteries before it shows in the frame. What lowers one is a seat pad gone stiff and faded, a height adjustment that no longer locks at every setting, and a toy bar or sound unit that has stopped working. Wheels dragged across rough ground flat-spot and rattle.

What should be done to baby items before collection?

Wash the removable covers and let them dry right through, since damp foam is the single thing that makes a piece unsellable. Put every bolt, allen key, raincover, tray and adapter into one bag taped to the item, and take out the batteries. A cot or pram that arrives complete is worth more than the same one missing its fittings.

Do you buy non-working baby & kids items?

Yes, we buy non-working baby & kids items for parts at a reduced price. Just describe the fault honestly and we'll quote accordingly.

How fast do I get paid?

You're paid cash on the spot when we collect the item, after a quick inspection to confirm its condition.
